What is the programming language?

• The programming language is nothing but, it is a practical way of us to give instruction to the computer.
• That means, Human to Human communication languages are English, Tamil,ect..
• But if the human need to communicates (calculations, open file, close file, play videos, and so on) with the computer by using programming languages.

Why programming language is required?

• The programming language is used to solve the difficult problems.
• It allows the developers to create software or applications.

Types of programming language:

• The programming language is divided into three major parts.

1. Machine level language
2. Assembly language
3. High-level language

1. Machine level language :(Low level language)

• This language only understands by CPU.
• These languages fully have 0's and 1's so, humans cannot understand.

2. Assembly language :( Middle level language)

• It is similar to machine level language but little bit different.
• This language fully based on instructions like ADD, SUB, MUL, MOV, and so on.
• An assembly language is very difficult to learn to program language compared to other languages.
• Using assembly language, many languages ware finding.
• For example,
• FORTRAN (FORmula TRANnslation),
• COBOL (COmmon Business Oriented Language),
• BASIC (Beginners All Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code),
• PASCAL (first mechanical calculator called Pascaline (Arithmetic Machine)).

3. High-level language :( English based language)

• The high-level programming languages are used to easily understand by human beings.
• It is called the human-readable language.
• This language is used to overcome the problems in assembly language.
• For example,
• C, C++,JAVA,HTML,CSS,Python,ect.
